Crispy Potato Crust | 香脆薯批底


Another savory pie base gives rich tastes of crispy potato base, we can put simply any kind of stuffing to make signature pie!


Ingredients | 材料 :
  • Yield: One 9″ crispy potato crust | 1個9″香脆薯批底
(A)
900g Potato (2 lbs)
280g Onion
2 eggs (110g), slightly beaten
salt & dark pepper


Steps | 做法 :


  1. Greese a 9" glass pie pan.

  2. Preheat oven to 220°C 20 minutes before baking.

  3. Grate potatoes and onion, drain in a colander (less wet the ingredients, more crispier the crust).

  4. Mix grated potatoes and onion with salt, pepper and 2 eggs.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, brush crush with a thin layer of oil, put back in the oven and bake for another 15 minutes until it becomes crispy.
